Muesli

Oh I’m living in December already, most hectic month on my (work) life. That means probably I have to struggle to keep updating this blog which is I know its gonna be quite challenging. This kind of job I’m working in isn’t easy if I can’t manage my time, among of overload-deadlines-as-always and upcoming briefs in this peak season I’m struggling to keep my life balance. As much as I could, though.

For an example, like this time, I’m in front of my Macbook, just finished editing some of the pictures for this post after I spent 30 minutes inside my kitchen cooking my dinner. Tomorrow I can’t guarantee myself can stay quietly on top of my bed and enjoy freeze KitKat while I’m writing because of unpredictable things always come up in this industry. Therefore I always enjoy every second of my leisure time to do something I love. And I always do for my food as well. When I had no proper food for my ritual breakfast like what I had last Thursday cause I worked day and night, I did enjoy myself with simply yummy breakfast kind of in following day.

Muesli was my choice. What I love from Muesli apart of how easy to prepare it as a breakfast is I can mix it with any fruits that I want. Just added yogurt and chopped fresh fruits, strawberry, kiwi, orange, apple, banana and oh I had almonds on my plate either. All of them just made my two-days breakfast such a little heavenly meal. Pardon for the iPhone in some of these pictures, I couldn’t help myself to drop my NEX and capture my breakfast for Instagram instead :P.

Cushy & Simply

Being a ‘chooser’ for food sometime could be a wise choice to respect ourselves. Spending ten or fifteen minutes in the kitchen, choosing fresh ingredients then cook them, for sure, it is so much better than grabbing delish fast food from a food court. A cushy and simply food I cooked for breakfast yesterday for an example, 15 minutes needed, let say 30 minutes for everything; boiling the pasta, making the soup, blending avocado float, (Capturing? 15 minutes extra!). It was a quite busy started my morning time I know but it was worth it.

Here, some snaps from my breakfast yesterday ; Almond Loaf (+ Mayo and Lumpfish Caviar) for starter, Spinaci Pasta served with Garlic soup and boiled Chicken Breast (+ Chopped Broccoli and Stir fried Cherry Tomatoes), small glass of Avocado Float, A stick of Choux à la Crème, and Spring water (+ Lemon). It was a quiet full for breakfast!

Fruity.

It’s been a while since I pushed to work out my crazy April. I was too busy until I had no time to pick out pics from my food lodge and share it here. For some reasons I always think that work too hard means yea yea yea I have to do my personal revenge after. Food is one of a perfect revenge and capture them always be another pleasure. I was enjoyed my Sunday morning last week with a piece of fruit pastry, a cup of coffee milk, and glass of refreshing lemon water. You see magazine on the table? That wasn’t a prop, it was my homework on Sunday. Uh, you see I had breakfast and homework in the same time huh?

Then, in the late noon on Sunday as usual, I always love dramatic light comes out from my window, so capturing smoothie that I made was so fun. The bamboo chopping board beautifying my smoothie even the light was so strong (that’s a new board!).

Last, tiny pancakes that I cooked for my breakfast yesterday looks yummy indeed, gathering fresh banana and Nutella, and some fresh strawberry on it was a simply perfect mood booster. Oh again, blueberry, strawberry, frozen banana and yogurt was so yummy as my pancake’s mate makes me want one more glass.

Ups, forgive me for too many pics on this post, I just too excited for fruits!

The Revenge 1 ; Breakfast.

I promise myself to make this Sunday goes well. Stay at home after crazy days last week, chilling inside room for a whole day, and absolutely foods! Foods? yeah that’s gonna be my personal revenge because couple days ago I was a bitter pill to swallow when I worked for a big event (I promise to post it soon).

So start from this morning, I chose to cook a quick one breakfast, just slices of pancakes with butter and Wilkin & Sons strawberry jam (finally I had a chance to grab that jam, I’m curious about the taste of it for a long and now I can say it’s a nice jam). And for drink I brewed a cup of bitter vanilla tea, bitter? yeah, I don’t like oversweet meal for breakfast so that I didn’t put sugar in my tea, bitter was so good after I ate pancakes with sugary jam, thats all.
